It seems like a lifetime since I last wrote here. Life has taken so many unexpected turns since then that I can't help but be grateful. The most important thing is that I am now employed by one of the world's leading IT firms and couldn't be happier. I'm not making any more money. In fact, I am getting paid less than I was at my previous company. It's even less than the second offer I nearly accepted four hours ago.
